A young girl named Zahra from “Sarqol Nadak” village in Miramor district, Daikundi province, has overcome incredible odds to achieve her dreams. Zahra was born with organ defects that left her unable to move her arms and legs, but with the help of her dedicated parents, she received treatment and can now walk and write. Despite the challenges she’s faced, Zahra is passionate about her education and attends a school in her village that was established by the Rah-e-Rahnaward Social Welfare Organization (RRSWO) with the financial support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Her great-grandmother, who carries her to school every day, is an inspiration to the community. Zahra’s story caught the attention of Ghulam Yahya Akbari, an employee of RRSWO, who published an article praising her talents, dedication, and aspirations for the future. In recognition of her achievements, the Director of Education for Miramor district personally came to Zahra’s village to commend her and her parents. Zahra’s dream is to become a doctor and help those in need, just like she was helped. Her courage and determination have made her a symbol of hope for her community and beyond. The RRSWO, with the support of UNICEF, has facilitated education for thousands of children who were previously left out of public schools, ensuring that they too have a chance to pursue their dreams. https://twitter.com/i/status/1662420406169653248
