The executive director of the Rah-e-Rahnaward Social Welfare Organization (RRSWO) and his accompanying team, in collaboration with officials from the Ghor Provincial Education Department, visited the community-based education (CBE) classes in Firozkoh (the capital of Ghor province) and the Chaharsada district.

During this visit, Serajuddin Ghafory, the Executive Director of RRSWO, along with Mawlawi Mohammad Hafez Saberi, Deputy of General Education, and Mawlawi Basharat, Head of Professional Development for Teachers, jointly monitored the CBE classes implemented by RRSWO.
Throughout the monitoring, various aspects were assessed, including the overall condition of the classes, teaching methods of instructors, educational materials, literacy levels, student learning outcomes, and other relevant issues.
The monitoring team evaluated the efforts of the teachers as satisfactory and provided several recommendations for improvement. These included creating a more friendly classroom environment, increasing student participation during lessons, boosting student morale, and encouraging greater parental involvement in their children’s education.
During this trip, awards and certificates of appreciation were distributed to teachers and students who had demonstrated outstanding performance. Additionally, guidance was provided to those teachers whose teaching methods required improvement, with an emphasis on organizing capacity-building programs (training workshops) for them.

At the end of the visit, the monitoring team held a meeting with the Chaharsada district education office, discussing improved coordination and efforts to enhance the status of the CBE classes, reaffirming their commitment to further cooperation.
It is worth mentioning that the community-based education classes are established in remote areas of the country in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan areas where children have been deprived of access to formal schools for various reasons. The goal of these classes is to provide educational opportunities for all out-of-school children.

It is also notable that the Executive Director of RRSWO had conducted similar monitoring visits to classes implemented by the organization in Ghor province in the previous year as well.
