With the financial support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), RRSWO organized a three-day workshop for 434 female and male teachers.
This workshop, which started on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in Daikundi province, the first stage is for 193 male teachers and from Tuesday to Thursday and the second stage is from Friday to Sunday for 241 female teachers.
The opening ceremony of this workshop was held on Tuesday at Qasr Almas Hotel, located in Nile City, the center of Daikundi province; Mohammad Javad Afzali, head of the UNICEF provincial office in Daikundi province, Qari Inayatullah Sahar, director of public education and acting director of education in Daikundi province, head of economics in Daikundi province, representative of the province, representative of intelligence, provincial director of Nay Qala organization, respected representative of Afghan ADA Development organization, director of technical education and Professionals of this province, officials and employees of Rah-e- Rahnaward Social Welfare organization in Daikundi Province and journalists participated in it.
Engineer Ezzatullah Nabil, the provincial Coordinator of RRSWO office, provided information about how to implement the educational program by RRSWO in Daikundi province and explained the essential responsibilities of a teacher.
Also, Mohammad Javad Afzali, head of the UNICEF provincial office for Daikundi province, expressed his satisfaction with the activities of RRSWO in this province, while emphasizing its cooperation with partner organizations.
Mr. Afzali stated that the success and improvement of the educational program depends on the dedication and efforts of the teachers and stated that this workshop is a good opportunity for teachers to share their positive experiences with each other and this performance adds to the improvement of the quality of the program.
Although Qari Inayatullah Sahar, head of public education and head of the education department, appreciated the UNICEF office’s support for the workshop to improve teachers’ capacities, he also noted that the education department of Daikundi is dedicated to supporting its children and provides honest services.
Since one year, this is the second workshop organized by (RRSWO) in order to improve the capacity of teachers, where hundreds of teachers from Community Based education classes, including male and female are trained.
