Zahra’s narration is worth reading once. It gives you hope!
There is a village in the soaring heights of Miramor district called Sarqol Nadak, which has the honor of raising a hero in its bosom, and that hero is none other than Zahra, a child who is partially paralyzed in both legs and cannot walk, but whose courage, determination, effort, and ability are so extraordinary that few can match them. Zahra’s father is a former teacher, and her mother was a teacher in a public education school until four years ago, but unfortunately, she is currently a housewife who has sacrificed her job and duty to take care of Zahra, and her father has devoted all his income and comfort to Zahra.
Zahra, who is now 7 years old, was born into the womb of a disabled mother. Both of her legs are paralyzed, and her tongue and hands are partially paralyzed, which causes depression and despair for her parents. And the exorbitant costs have improved, and now her hands do delicate things like writing, but with a little difficulty. Zahra ‘s tongue helps him pronounce words and sentences with difficulty, and her legs are still not able to move Zahra properly and only at a distance. She is very short and can walk indoors. Her legs are still in casts to keep Zahra stable.
With the start of the local education class of the Rah-e-Rahnaward Social Welfare Organization, which has been set up in the most remote and deprived parts of Miramor, Zahra enrolled and attended the first local class of Sarqol Nadak village as a regular and disciplined accepted student. The class, which is unable to walk but does not miss an hour, owes it to the efforts of its father, mother, and great-grandmother. Zahra’s father Abdullah’s house is located 1.5 kilometers from the school, and every day, if the father was at home and had time, he would take Zahra to the school on his shoulder. It goes to her dedicated mother, and if she is too busy, Zahra’s grandmother, who is an old lady, will bear this responsibility, and this work is very difficult and exhausting for her.
Zahra, who is apparently a disabled child, has an extraordinary talent and attracts the attention of every visitor in the classroom with her innocent, beautiful, and friendly face and always with her sweet smile. She, who is now at the end of the first grade, with the support and affection of her parents and the efforts of Fatima Sarwari, the teacher of the grade, who loves Zahra very much, has the ability to read and write words and sentences, the ability to define and solve basic mathematical operations, and the topics included in the books of the first grade. Reciting the text of the Holy Quran has acquired the skills and capabilities of living in the community well and does not leave any question about the first grade lesson topics unanswered. She wants to become a doctor in the future with her ha rd work and determination so that she can treat children who are facing the same problems as she is.
